Ortho Total Kill Lawn and Garden insect killer - 32 ounces - concentrate.

Ortho Total Kill Lawn and Garden insect killer - 32-ounce bottle. The list of bugs this stuff kills reads like a "who's who" of the insect world: Ants, crickets, earwigs, fleas, spiders, ticks (brown dog, deer, lone star), moths, gnats, house flies, mosquitoes, tent caterpillars, millipedes, sowbugs, just to name a few. It kills on contact and the manufacturer claims it keeps killing for up to four weeks.

The mixing instructions say to use between one and two ounces per gallon of water but I vary that depending on the mission objective. If fleas have been sighted and this spray is being used in conjunction with other flea control products, I mix it a little stronger. If I'm just thinning out ants or spraying a band around the perimeter of the house, I mix it in slightly weaker concentrations. I have never been able to completely eliminate the ant population in my back yard. As a result, I've quit trying. This is a 32 ounce bottle and will treat up to 16,000 square feet when mixed to manufacturer's instructions.
