Using a circuit/fuse tester to test automotive fuses.

Testing an automotive fuse. Start the vehicles engine. Locate the fuse you want to test and touch the end of the tester point to one of the metal terminals on the end of the fuse. If the tester lights up, the fuse is good. If it doesn't light up, replace the fuse. In this image I've taken the fuse out of the fuse panel. In an actual test the fuse would be left in place. Basically all the fuse tester does is alert you (or not) if the connection has been broken.
